BIOGRAPHY - CÉCILE BEER
Both Swiss and French, I hold a Ph.D. in French Language and Literature from the Universities of Paris-Sorbonne and Neuchâtel. I have been a French teacher for the past 15 years, since moving to Switzerland.
I teach French as a foreign language in addition to French literature at an academic level (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, University of Neuchâtel, Haute École Pédagogique de Zurich), in private schools and in companies.
In 2017, I published my thesis, La Rivalité amoureuse entre père et fils dans le théâtre français du 17ème siècle (630 pages), at the Editions Universitaires Européennes (EUE), and I regularly edit articles or reviews in specialized journals.
Furthermore, I correct academic papers, scripts and a variety of other texts and websites for companies, news magazines and private individuals.
